BMW introduces new iPhone app

The new ParkingAssistant, which is currently only available for iPhone iPad and iTouch, helps you out two ways. First, it serves as a timer for the meter expiration. Next it also helps you locate where you parked, be it garage or curbside. To activate it, you merely set the timer as you leave the vehicle and the app does the rest, ensuring you’ll never forget your remaining meter time, or just where on that enormous street you parked your car. Most of us push our luck with the metered time, so it will even tell you the amount of time it is going to take to get back to your car to refresh the meter with some fresh coinage.

It even has a special setting for multi-storey garages, so you can avoid the frustration of getting off on floor 3 when your car is on floor 4. It’s free and available now on iTunes, and anyplace else you can score Apple Apps. Check it out.
