Homestead-Miami Speedway is a race track in Homestead, FL, which annually hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, Camping World Truck Series and the GRAND-AM events. Built to help Homestead rebound from the devastation of Hurricane Andrew, the Homestead-Miami Speedway opened in 1995 with a NASCAR race.
With design elements reflecting the art deco district of Miami, some consider the track and facilities to be the most beautiful circuit in the country. It has been recently reconfigured to deliver even more high speed and technical thrills than when it first opened, altering what was mostly flat turns into steep variable banking. The changes have inspired praise from fans and drivers alike.
Homestead is delighted to continue its rich history of sports car racing and welcomes the GRAND-AM Rolex Racing Sports Car Series this week. It looks forward to playing an integral role in the nation’s growing interest in motorsports of all kinds.
