
Unique front- and rear-end styling will distinguish the M2 from the fleet of other BMWs while still maintaining that classic BMW sense. Where are all these details coming from? None other than from the new head of BMW's M Division, Dr. Nitschke.
"In the 1M Coupe, we have a starter car for the M Division, and we are continuing to develop this project. Such models must be sporty, and offer extraordinarily low fuel consumption. This is something we could achieve with the M2. I think the 1M Coupe proves there is room for an M2, a coupe," says Nitschke.
To make it all more exciting, the good Doctor went on to suggest there is also a new supercar in the pipeline - some automotive beast being built to rival Lamborghini's Aventor and the Audi R8.
